Small Mini DC-DC 3A adjustable Step up Booster Power Supply Module 4.0V to 30V Output

 Upto 3X Voltage Boost !!

For many applications including Arduino, Raspberry PI, Sensors, Servo, Transducers, Robotics, Solar panel, Automotive, USB etc

Features

This is a great mini supply for your projects needing step up voltages in upto 3A loads.
Based on the legendary LM2587  boost converter it features all solid state capacitors in a well designed compact circuit board. These come with 4 brass stand-offs, ready to be mounted.

Specifications

Input: DC 3.5V-30V

Input maximum current: 5A

Output DC 4.0-30V voltage continuously adjustable, high-efficiency maximum output continuous current of 3A.

(To prevent damage you must ensure that the output setting voltage is higher than the input voltage - See Notes below)

Power Vout X Iout
Booster Limit Vout / Vin  <= 3 and  { Vout > Vin  always }

Means : to get 12V output , atleast 4V is required as input.

Dimensions 52mm (L) x 40mm (W) x 20mm (Including supplied mounts)

The In+,In- and out+,out- connections are on clearly marked on the terminals. Supply and output wires need to be screwed in
These can adjust in the 0.1V increments using the potentiometer R1 (trim) (Blue part with the brass screw).

The applications and usage of these little power Boards are purely limited by your imagination :-)

A classic example being a solar panel that has 9V output ,and you need to drive a 12V device out of it.  Or convert a 12V dc to 24V DC to charge a set of solar battery.

Designed to withstand heat and abuse and even below freezing temps.

These find use in many many applications - Arduino, Raspberry PI, Sensors, Transducers, Robotics, Solar panel voltage conversion, or what ever you fancy.

Part Usage and Warnings for Initial Setting:-

1.) To prevent damage , ensure that the output setting voltage is higher than the input voltage.

2.) To do so , do not counter clockwise adjust the trim when setting the voltage.

3.) For First time - Always trim clockwise to get a feel of where the output voltage wrt input voltage (using a voltmeter)

4.) For the safest setup - > Start with a 5V DC input for first time calibration. Make sure the trim is turned clock wise a couple of turns before power up.
